2024/5 Bramley Bowl Winners

Chawton Park have now won the Bramley Bowl for the Sixth time having been previous winners in 2021/22, 2017/18, 2013/14, 2012/13 and 2011/12.

The 2024/25 version took on Palmerston in the final league game of the season on Saturday and after a fairly even start Chawton Park began to pull away, eventually running out winners on all four rinks and by 92 shots to 51 taking the maximum ten points on offer.

With Palmerston being the only team who could overtake Chawton Park at the beginning of the day Chawton were duly crowned champions, finally finishing eleven points ahead of second placed Loddon Vale.

Top rink of the day were the quartet of Danny Brown, Gary M Johnson, Matt Carr and Gary Starks 32-14 winners. Special mention also of the away rink of John Blair, Dom Flannigan, Dave Sims and Nathan Beeson 10-2 down after seven ends who recovered to win by 21-14.
