Two wins out of three for Chawton Park

Our Under 30’s 2 x triples team lost out to a strong Egham side on Saturday morning. This was our first entry in this prestigious competition and speaks volumes of the young talent at the club.

Also on Saturday we entertained the Hampshire Patrons in our annual friendly. Each side won three of the six rinks with Chawton Park running out overall winners by 107 shots to 88. The top rink playing as a triple were John Swanborough, Phil Wood and skip Dave Goddard who won by 29 to 6.

On Sunday our mixed top club team travelled to Five Rivers and secured a great result winning all five disciplines on their way to a 16-0 victory. There were wins for Caroline Goodeve and Ashley Nethercliffe in the two wood singles, Lesley Johnson and Matt Carr in the pairs, Kate Fyfield, Nathan Beeson and Mark Fyfield in the triples and the rink of Tina Chambers, Claire Flannigan, Reece Graham and Gary Starks.
