Chawton Park well represented in HCWIBA County Finals.

Chawton Park will be well represented in the Hampshire County Women’s Indoor Bowling Association Finals to be held at Palmerston on the weekend of 5th and 6th of April.

With Seven finals to be held, Chawton Park will be represented in four of the seven and will be guaranteed at least two trophies as the 3 Wood Triples and the Mixed Rinks have two Chawton Park teams contesting the respective finals.

On the Saturday Morning at 10.00 the 2 Wood Triples teams of Lesley Johnson, Beryl Collier and Margaret Leppard play Tina Chambers, Claire Flannigan and Janet Williamson and at 2.00 in the rinks final the club are represented by Tina Chambers, Kate Fyfield, Claire Flannigan and Janet Williamson who take on opponents from Loddon Vale.

On Sunday morning at 10.00 attention turns to the triples final in which Tina Chambers, Kate Fyfield and Janet Williamson represent Chawton Park against a trio from Palmerston. In the afternoon at 2.00 the other all Chawton Park final takes place in the Mixed Rinks where Sue Moore, Margaret Holden, Reece Graham and Ashley Nethercliffe take on Kate Fyfield, Janet Williamson, Mark Fyfield and Matt Carr.

Of the remaining finals the Pairs take place on Saturday Morning at 10.00 (Victory v Palmerston). The Presidents Cup match between two triples from Banister Park takes place on Sunday at 2.00. The Seventh final (Singles) is unable to be played at the weekend due to a date clash with National Competitions. This will be played on a date in the future yet to be agreed.
